MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi! I'm Thao, the girl behind Thao Arcaira Weddings + Events. I'm the founder and lead event planner & day-of coordinator. I am known by my peers for my vibrant personality, contagious smile, immense work ethic, and an eye for detail. I attended California State University, Fullerton and studied in Child Adolescent Development to be an elementary school teacher but my passion for weddings have lead me to a different path.

I have always had a love and passion for creativity, design, and romance. It wasn't until after I planned my own wedding that I realized the wedding industry is made for me; my passion has guided me to the world of weddings and events. I absolutely love everything about weddings. Initial consultations always give me so much excitement. Brainstorming ideas, drawing out designs, creating DIY projects are some of my favorite things, and I can most definitely spend hours poring over Pinterest for inspiration. Saying that I'm passionate about my clients is an understatement. I love getting to know my clients which will help me create beautiful events tailored to tell their love story. Every story is unique and special and I enjoy going above and beyond to ensure that each couple has the greatest experience. Your wedding is probably the biggest "party" you ever throw, and it should feel special. There is an art to this. It must be memorable, smooth, organic, and enjoyable from start to finish for everyone involved; family, friends, and most importantly, the bride and groom. The majority of newly engaged couples typically spend anywhere from 8 to 18 months planning their wedding day. When it finally arrives, it can go by so quickly! That's why it's incredibly important to make sure that it is properly planned from start to finish, so that you can squeeze every bit of fun, love, and amazingness out of it!

MEET OUR ASSISTANT COORDINATOR

​​Hello! I'm Chelsea, the assistant coordinator at Thao Arcaira Weddings + Events. I graduated from California State University, Northridge with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. However, weddings have always been a joy in my life. My most favorite moment at a wedding is when the bride walks down the aisle and you look over at the groom and watch his reaction! Totally "27 Dresses" moment! 

It was my brother's wedding, back in Novemeber of 2015, where I got my first taste of wedding planning. I assisted in going to venue meetings, went to dress fittings with the bride, did DIY bridesmaids bouquets, and even had the greatest opportunity of making the bride's bouquet. These were little tasks that needed to be done, but I absolutely loved every second of it! From grand decisions to tiny details, it's the journey of planning that makes the day so special. Not only am I  known to be highly organized, a great multi-tasker, ability to find solutions on the go, I am very passionate about customer service and building relationships with all my clients. I will work hard to make sure you have an amazing and stress-free event, so let's have some fun!
